..in merry olde England during the 1800's, street vendors would travel the "shopping district" shouting "Hot Pockets" "Hot Pockets" for all the shoppers to hear..They would be selling "baked potatoes" to the shoppers to carry in their coat pockets! These kept their hands warm while they shopped since most stores were only heated with a coal stove and were (brrrrrr) cold inside! Then they went home and ATE them!!! (yummy)!!
Today, during our Sleigh Ride Event, we will be serving "Hot Pockets" (with all the condiments to go with) on the front porch of the store...won't you join us for this fun Saturday!!!
....many, many thanks (and lots of hugs) go to Kris and Joe Reynolds, owners of THE CHRISTMAS BARN in Woodstock, Connecticut - who shared this wonderful tradition with us! XOXO
