SADNESS...

My brother has pancreatic cancer...and is in his final moments - he is 60 yrs. olde. I am finding it so very hard to contemplate not having him. I am the oldest of our family of five....Mother and Father have passed and it just doesn't seem right that I am losing my brother. He has put up a good fight and I am so proud of him. Not much in the blogging mood right now....but I will be back - life goes on...Judy

I'm so sorry to read your sad news, Judy. It seems like everyone that I know, both close and casual, is touched by this horrid disease, so we can all relate to what you are going through.

Know that my arms are around you, giving you supportive hugs, and that I'm sending prayers and energy that your brother not suffer. I wish for the two of you to be able to fill the days with sweet memories and lots of love.

Of course you don't feel like blogging, but know that we will wait patiently, and will have open arms whenever you do feel like returning.

Judy - so sorry about your brother - wish and hoping he could be one of the success stories - Way to young. My father (who just turned 80) is a survivor of the same cancer about 11 or so years ago. Hope he is not in pain.

Judy,
I am new to your blog. I am sorry for your loss. I loss my Dad age 69 to pancreatic cancer in 2000. One year later my cousin(My fathers brothers daughter) died from pancreatic cancer she was in her 50's. 2 years later my uncle my fathers brother same one that lost the daughter( died himself from pancreatic cancer.)Last year another uncle of mine died from pancreatic cancer but he was my mothers brother. Pancreatic Cancer is a devastating cancer with no cure...there needs to be more awareness to fund research for this cancer.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
Hugs,
Lynn
